Program Structures (pre 2011)

In order to improve program flexibility and relevance, Chifley Business School applied for and was granted accreditation by the Victorian Qualifications and Registration Authority (VRQA) to deliver new program structures for its Graduate Diplomas and Masters of Business Administration.

 

Summary of Changes

 

MBA and MBA (Technology Management)

> Students are now required to complete six core units and six elective units.

> The previous structure required eight core units and 4 elective units to be completed

MBA (Technology Management)

> Project Management is now a core unit.

> Business Law, Economic Decision Making and Marketing are now elective units

Chifley MBA

> e-Business Strategy and Marketing are now elective units

Graduate Diploma of Management (Technology Management)

> Project Management and Strategic Management are now core units.

> Business Law and Economic Decision Making are now elective units

Master of Technology in Project Management 

> The following units are no longer offered - Operations Management, Strategic Management, Management of Professional Services, Marketing, Pathways to Organisational Best Practice, Corporate Finance, International Business Strategy and e-Business Strategy.

> The following units have been added - Managing Innovation, Leadership and Leaders As Decision Makers
