Chifley Business School can provide testamur notarisation for students wishing to seek employment in countries where award attestation is required.
Upon successful completion of an award, students may apply to have their award notarised in Australia. Applications are only accepted during the periods as indicated on the Notarisation Application Form.
Once testamurs have been ratified and printed, Chifley will co-ordinate notarisation with the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) and a certified notarial legal practitioner registered with the affiliated government authority.
Once the award has been officially notarised by both bodies, Chifley will despatch the testamur to the student which they can then take to their designated embassy for validation.
Please note: Notarisation may take anywhere up to six weeks for processing so please consider this when making an application.
To ensure successful receipt, Chifley will only despatch a notarised award via courier. Students must provide a valid street address for delivery and under no circumstances are PO Boxes permitted. In the event an incorrect address is provided, the courier will be instructed to return the testamur to Chifley and the student will then be required to pay all costs associated with re-delivery.
The fee for notarisation is AUD$150* and includes the service as listed above. It does not include any other shipment costs, customs clearance charges, insurances, loss and/or damage, or embassy fees. Any additional costs outside Chifley‘s quoted service must be borne by the student and Chifley will not be held responsible.
*fee is correct at time of publishing but may be subject to change.
