WorleyParsons is a leading provider of professional services to the resources and energy sectors and complex process industries. WorleyParsons is a global company of over 32,000 employees across more than 40 countries.

Scope

WorleyParsons needed to upskill its engineers; particularly its younger workforce so they could take on more responsibilities and higher roles. The WorleyParsons Graduate Development Program was developed to give our engineers the professional and management skills needed to progress their careers into leadership roles within the organisation.

The Program

With Chifley Business School, we have developed a range of management programs focussing on three key areas—managing self, managing relationships and managing within a team. In addition, we run approximately 60 short courses with Chifley ever year. They cover areas such as client relationship management, team effectiveness and creative problem solving.

Outcome

Our engineers value the business management skills they develop through Chifley's courses. They complement our engineers' technical knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to become well-rounded professionals with broad career options.
